Design/build project teamed with Bio-Habitats of Timonium, Md. Demolish an old municipal concrete swimming pool, generating approximately 3,000 C.Y. of rubble fill. Rubble fill was used to raise an adjacent ball field area. Approximately 12,000 C.Y. of fill material was excavated and used to cap the concrete fill. This was then re-topsoiled and seeded for future park use. The excavated portion was joined back into existing Meadow Lake, graded and planted to establish a fresh water marsh ecosystem as a wildlife habitat area within the park.
