Twin Island Marsh Restoration

Excavate a marsh that was historically filled to remove an encroaching Phragmites australis monoculture and re-establish a functional low and high salt marsh.  As part of a value engineering proposal the dredge material was used on site to cover an old building site.  This site was then seeded with native grasses and wildflowers and a pedestrian trail designed and installed for park use.
